Eligibility and preference
- High School (UP Board or equivalent) pass.
- A three-year diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an AICTE-approved equivalent.
- Preference, other things being equal, for at least two years in the Territorial Army or an NCC ‘B’ certificate.
Selection process
Selection is through a written exam. Candidates are first shortlisted on merit using their normalised PET-2025 score; anyone with a zero or negative PET score is not shortlisted. The main exam has 100 objective questions (100 marks) in 2 hours. Part 1 covers agricultural engineering topics, Part 2 covers computer and IT awareness (15 marks) and Part 3 covers general knowledge about Uttar Pradesh (20 marks).
Points to note
- EWS candidates need an EWS certificate issued between 1 April 2026 and 7 October 2026.
- The form cannot be printed until the fee is reconciled, so check the status with “Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification”.
- In the correction window, only the address, EWS/horizontal reservation details, qualification details and marital status can be changed.

- After the fee is reconciled, download and print your application form.
