About the recruitment

IBPS runs a Common Recruitment Process every year for Regional Rural Banks (gramin banks). CRP RRBs XV covers Group “B” Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Group “A” Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager), Scale II (Manager – General Banking and Specialist) and Scale III (Senior Manager). The vacancy numbers are indicative; final allotment depends on the vacancies the banks actually report. We calculated the total of 13,745 by adding up the tables in the 15-09-2026 Annexure-I.

Eligibility

  • Office Assistant and Officer Scale I: graduation in any subject and proficiency in the state’s local language. Computer knowledge is desirable.
  • Scale II General Banking: graduation with 50% marks and 2 years as an officer in a bank or financial institution.
  • Scale II Specialist (IT, CA, Law, Treasury, Marketing, Agriculture): a relevant degree/CA/MBA and 1–2 years of experience, depending on the post.
  • Scale III: graduation with 50% marks and at least 5 years as an officer.

Exam pattern

  • Office Assistant and Scale I Prelims: Reasoning (40) and Numerical/Quantitative Ability (40) – 80 questions in 45 minutes.
  • Mains: Reasoning, Computer, General Awareness, English or Hindi, and Numerical/Quantitative – 200 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes.
  • Scale II and III: a single online exam followed by an interview.
  • There is no interview for Office Assistant; allotment is based on Mains marks.

Age relaxation

SC/ST get 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years and PwBD 10 years. Widowed or divorced women get a separate relaxation for the Office Assistant post.

  3. Register, then upload your photo, signature and other documents.
  4. Choose your state/UT, exam centre and exam language carefully.
  5. Pay the fee online by 27 September 2026 and keep a printout of the form.

Yes, but among officer posts you can pick only one scale (I, II or III), and each post needs its own form and fee.
