Under Himachal Pradesh's Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh-Samman Nidhi Yojana, women aged 18 to 59 who are permanent residents get ₹1500 per month, provided no family member is a government employee, pensioner or income-tax payer. Himachal Pradesh's Mukhyamantri Vidhwa Evam Ekal Nari Awas Yojana gives widows and single women aged 40 or above ₹1,50,000 to build a house. The family income must be up to ₹3 lakh a year, with no pucca house and at least 2 biswa of land. Apply on Annexure-1 to the Chief Minister's office.
