Key facts about the admit card
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is holding Tier-I of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2026 from 30 September to 30 October 2026. In a notice dated 21 September 2026, SSC said candidates can view their exam city by logging in on ssc.gov.in. This is not the admit card, only advance information about the city so you can plan your travel.
When and where to get the admit card
- The Admission Certificate will be available about 2–3 days before your exam date (tentative) in the same login module.
- Detailed admit card instructions are in the SSC notice dated 21 May 2026 on the Commission’s website.
- Both the exam city and the admit card are online only.
Note for candidates with their own scribe
SSC says scribe registrations made before 05.11.2025 have been disposed of. Scribe registration is now linked to Aadhaar authentication, so every scribe must register afresh. The maximum age of a scribe follows Policy No. PP001/14/2024-PP dated 04.11.2025. A scribe entry pass is generated only for candidates who mapped the scribe OTR in time.

How to Apply
- Open ssc.gov.in and log in with your registration number and password.
- After logging in, view your exam city for CGL 2026 Tier-I.
- Log in again 2–3 days before your exam date to download the Admission Certificate (admit card).
- Check the date, shift, reporting time and centre address printed on the admit card.
- Candidates with their own scribe should also download the scribe entry pass (generated only if the scribe OTR was mapped).
